A Storm can Challenge your Excellency!

Ondoy's Anniversary is a painful reminder of the tragedy that came to the Philippines;
While Pedring is trying to be the repetition of the story.

**want to give credit to GMANEWSONLINE**

Things happen the way they meant to be. They happen for a reason. A reason to remind us that we should take good care of the excellent natural resources God had entrusted us. We always seem to question God for the misfortunes that come along. But the truth is… we, human beings, are the ones who truly destroy the blessings He provided us. Yet I believe we are now aware of our accountability and responsibility to take good of everything we have, and just as we know, we are STARTING to do something about this.

Let’s just hope and pray that it is not too late for us to make things right.

**I want to send my regards to those who lost their family, friends and possessions because of Ondoy and Pedring.**

Relating to the real storm, a storm can also represent problems that we encounter in life. This can also include the literal storm that floods our houses, suspends our classes and even make us stranded. But we encounter “symbolic” storms differently depending on how we look at each situation. Being excellent won’t stop by becoming excellent, as I explained in my previous posts, and by just giving your best. It also includes making the right choices and sowing the right seeds

Making the right choices. We can never be perfect and it would be impossible to never commit a mistake. But in every choice, comes consequences, either positively or negatively. The difference is the weight of the result of the choice made. So, we should be very careful on how we put a hand in every situation. The hardest part in making a decision is not distinguishing what is right to what is wrong but determining what is better than what is just can be accepted. We need an intimate prayer and a deep conviction to determine which is more beneficial than what is just okay. To be able to reach excellence, we have to be very conscious on how we make our daily decisions that would lead to…

Sowing the right seeds. It’s just like this: What you reap is what you sow. Kung anong tinanim mo, sya ring aanihin mo. So, to be able to reap a good harvest, we should sow the right one. Simple but powerful. Let this be true in our lives.

Sow some seed of SMILING
and you will reap the fruit of HAPPINESS from the people around you.

Sow some seed of LOVE
and you reap the fruit of AFFECTION from the people you showed love to.

Sow some seed of HATRED
and people around will surely HATE you.

Sow some seed of GARBAGE in the canal,
and you will reap the harvest of CALAMITY.

Remember:
We will reap MORE than what just what we sow.

So, NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF SOWING THE RIGHT SEED!

My Greatest Fear!

To be excellent, we should use and overcome our fears. But how can I if this is the kind of fear I have???

My greatest fear is not for myself but for the people I love. I'm afraid because I love them. When you love people, you don't want them to get hurt that's why you'll do everything you can to save them from getting hurt.

But that's NOT always possible! They'll get hurt even if we try to protect them. And that's my fear that i can't do anything to save them. I fear that my friends and love ones will suffer from eternal death and I can't do anything about that!

But THANK GOD, He did it already FOR YOU and FOR ME!
JESUS CHRIST died on the cross, He carried our sins, that we may be forgiven by God the Father if we confess our sins and ask for forgiveness. But it won't end that way... we should believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and we should accept Him as our Savior!

Please don't misunderstand me here. I'm not doing this for religion because it's NOT about religion and RELIGION CAN NEVER SAVE YOU, I just want you to know that how much I love you can never be compared to how much God loves you! RELATIONSHIP...yes! RELATIONSHIP to CHRIST alone can save us from the penalty of our sins, which is eternal death in hell.

That's why I'm sooo moved by the Spirit to tell you this: Just BELIEVE with all your heart, with all your mind , with all your soul and with all your strength! WE WILL SURELY SEE EACH OTHER IN HEAVEN!!!

Simply ♥piNk♥: Do It Now!

Simply ♥piNk♥: Do It Now!

Do It Now!

I learned that both parties have faults in any conflict or misunderstanding. That's why, either of the two can be the first to confront the other. To forgive is one of the ways in achieving excellence!
Why? It is because being forgiving is one of the characteristics of the One who is really excellent, GOD, the Author of Excellence! So, let's show our excellence by forgiving!
BUT don't let anyone to abuse your forgiving heart; this is not what God wants us to be. He wants us to be strong and brave, to be shrewd, yet forgiving and innocent in evil ways.

You know what??? We always hurt somebody who really loves us. We hurt Him intentionally and maybe not intentionally but certainly we hurt Him more than we know.
He is God, our Lord, who always sees us, not only what we do but also our hearts. We should now ask God to forgive us from all our sins. Accept and believe that Jesus is the only way to heaven, and that He is God and our only Savior. He died and was rose again that we may have eternal life. Don’t wait for tomorrow because we don’t know if tomorrow will come.

Do it now!
REMEMBER: Ang pagsisisi ay laging nasa huli!
The chance may be gone forever!

TRY TO ANSWER THIS!!!

This is just a simple logic game but teaches us a thoughtful lesson that would help us to be excellent!

Give            Get
Give            Get
Give  and   Get
Give            Get

I know, it's not that hard to answer this and others may know this already but for those don't and can't...
Here’s the simple yet profound answer:

to

"4GIVE & 4GET"

This is what I learned this week and let me share some of the points I find out:

1. To forgive those who offended you who asked for your forgiveness.
It is written in Colossians 3:13 "Bear with each other and FORGIVE whatever grievances you may have against one another. FORGIVE as the Lord forgave you." We should learn to forgive that we may also be forgiven. We should first accept that we're not perfect that we may be able to accept the faults of other people.

2. To forgive those who offended you even without asking for your forgiveness, just don't be too sensitive.
Yes, we should not be too sensitive. Sometimes, we're the only one who thinks that there is a problem because we just want to but in reality there is none.

3. But if you're really hurt and it's a serious offense, CONFRONT HIM/HER!
"If your brother sins against you, go and show him his fault, just between the two of you. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over. But if he will not listen, take one or two others along, so that every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses." Matthew 18:15-16

It will never be wrong to make the first move and it will not make you less human!

4. To forget what he/she has done to you and to be always ready to give a second chance.
Actually, 'second chance' is not written in the Bible because Jesus offers more! In Matthew 18:21-22, it is said that we should not only forgive seven times but seventy-seven times or seven times seven in other translation. It's not that literal that we should count how many times our friend or brother sins against us but He just want to show us that we should forgive endlessly like what God has done to us. He forgives us endlessly though our sins our done endlessly. It's just like forgetting. That's how forgiving our Lord is.

Let's Define Excellence!

"...according to a pocket dictionary, the word "pink" is defined as excellence. And to be honest, I really love this definition because it challenges me to be excellent. "
-Simply ♥piNk♥

As I said in my first post, I am being challenge to be excellent. Now, we'll define excellence! This topic has been around us very well. Some get so proud about themselves and some get so insecure. This will help us know how to handle our abilities and capabilities.

One misinterpretation to excellency nowadays is being the highest and the best but excellency does not only mean being on the top but meeting the top. According to a web definition, excellence is defined as the quality of excelling; possessing good qualities in high degree. Being in high degree does not mean being the highest. Not being the best but giving our best. It is not necessary that you'll be the only one, it may even mean being one of those who are excellent.

Excellency can be reaching over one's own limitations. We all have our own limitations and meeting them is very difficult, but reaching over it we'll be the hardest part.

To be excellent, we should know our strengths first, or we can call them talents and abilities. Then, we should also know and accept our weaknesses because this will define our limitations. We, human beings, have our own capacities.

Now, differentiate your strengths from your weakness. Rather than focusing on your weaker part, focus first and nurture your stronger features. Cultivating your talents and abilities will lead you to excellency. Don't concentrate too much on things you can't do but instead do the opposite. You'll only get frustrated if you do so and the saddest part, you'll only look so trying hard.

And this is what I want to emphasize, you can be excellent but it doesn't mean that you're the only one that can do it. Accept if someone else, can also do the same thing you can do. Remember: You are UNIQUE just like everyone else!

The Reason Behind

NO secret! NO surprise! Nothing to hide because everyone knows...
...I lovePiNk ! ! !

I've always been misjudged by the people around me for being so pink-loving and pink-addict. It's not about being kikay or girly or what, but it really makes me. It's not about getting attention or what, but it completes me. So, what's with the color "pink"??? Wanna know??? According to Word IQ.com, "pink" is defined as a color made by mixing red and white and sometimes described as being a light red, but it is more accurately a bright undersaturated red. And according to a pocket dictionary, the word "pink" is defined as excellence. And to be honest, I really love this definition because it challenges me to be excellent. But this is not the reason why I really loved pink and still loving it.

The first reason is that I am the only daughter of my parents. So, obviously I was always dressed in pink since I was a baby to be identified as the only girl among my four handsome brothers (I know right! Haha! I'm sure, they'll hate this part). But actually, that reason had never been enough for me to be so committed to this fancy and childish color, as they say, but still I don't accept it. ;)

When I was Grade Four, I started wearing clothes and things with other colors. I think, I've been sicked with it. I've been so used to it that I want to explore other colors, too. I've been like that since I was First Year High School. I also tried to cut my long hair when I was 9 years old to a stylish one that turned out to be like an onion-cut. Haha! Believe me! It was supposed to be a layered one but my hair really looked like an ONION! And I really regretted that moment! Ugh!

I returned to my true color until I became aware of the importance of the color "pink". And the simplest and most popular way to define it is this: a mixture of red and white. Yes! And I accept it with all my heart. Red symbolizes the love of God through the blood of Jesus Christ that saved me from the penalty of my sins while white symbolizes God's holiness and purity that He's pouring unto me to overcome temptations that would cause me to sin.

I victoriously claim to be the mixture of God's love and God's holiness. I wholeheartedly and continually claim to be "pink". All of us should claim it! I know that the color may never be your favorite, but I do believe that this color once has touched your life. The color matters to me, not just because it's beautiful and pleasing to the eyes but because of the reason that it reminds me of God's love that I accepted and God's holiness that I should possess. Both are important and none should be defied.
God's love + God's holiness = PINK.

This blog will help us know how to be excellent in everything we do by simply being "piNk"! So, I'm calling out NOT just the girls but ALSO the boys to...

...THINK PINK ! ! ! =)
